Property Manager/Maintenance Coordinator
We are looking to add another Property Manager/Maintenance Coordinator to assist with our upscale single-family homes. Base salary plus incentives based on the performance of the department. The job involves the use of AppFolio management software and Microsoft Office. Must be well organized and able to multi-task. The job requires some time in the field checking property condition and the work of our vendors throughout Wake County. Experience with property management, repairs, or construction preferred. Good computer skills are a must. Most of our client base is corporate, so good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally are required. The job is working in a fast-paced property management office environment, so the ability to multi-task is a must.
- Involves the use of management software and Microsoft Office

Block & Associates Realty primarily does lease-ups and property management on single-family homes and upscale townhomes. In fact, we have been blessed to be the largest supplier of those kinds of properties throughout the Triangle by a pretty big measure. And we do mean blessed!
We do some sales and some sales listings, but we do not compete for any business referred to us by outside Realtors. When rental business is referred to us we always honor the prior client relationships. We have a need, however, for a small group of sales agents who want to sell to our own investors and who want to learn residential leasing. Right now we are looking for 2-3 Sales Agents who would like to add selling to investors and doing lease-ups to what they are already doing while they continue their existing sales side practice.
We can offer a generous commission split on sales and sales listings with no fees, monthly, desk, or otherwise. By adding a book of residential rentals to one’s practice, a sales agent can develop a monthly income that is stable based on the number of properties we manage, that she or he listed for rent and leased up. Our rental agents do not get involved in the day to day property management.
We can definitely show an agent how to work with investors and add selling single family homes as investments to their practice! Our founder Norman Block is a longtime coach and teacher, and for many years has been an adjunct professor at both UNC’s and Duke’s MBA programs. For the right sales agent, we know that under our training they can learn how to broaden their practice, build value in their practice, and stabilize their cash flow.
